Given the wonderful snowpack in Dec. and Jan., Winter Carnival is shaping up to be a great one this year. But don’t forget out book sale on Saturday from 11-4 as well!

Find a bookshelf at the base of the stairs leading down to the archives with a small selection of used books in Finnish and about all things Finnish. They also often have a book sales during Juhannus (midsummer) and Heikinpäivä in later January.
The PLDL has a small shelf of withdrawn and donated books for sale just as you walk into the library.
A large bookshelf just past the circulation desk at the Van Pelt and Opie Library holds a fe hundred selected books, concentrating on fiction and more popular works. Cash payment in a slot in the shelves (and don’t forget to drop off your Econo grocery receipts to benefit FMTL).
